Insightful Articles About Faith and Religion

FREE! FREE! FREE!

Everyone loves free stuff! As soon as we hear those words, our endorphins begin pumping out happiness hormones. We smile, our eyes get wide with anticipation, and our minds begin wondering, what could it be?

But soon, after this initial burst of euphoria, we begin to doubt and question, “is it really, free?” We remember times when we’ve been burned before. When something free came with strings attached that required more than what we thought initially.

GOD’S LOVE IS NO EXCEPTION, but His requirements, i.e., His strings, are meant for our upmost, well-being. They are there to help us live a happier life! They will not do us harm!

To accept God’s free gift, you must love Him with all your heart, with all your soul [personality], with all your mind, and with all your strength! (Mark 12:30-31.)

Love with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength? One would think, “that’s a lot to give up,” right? You would be right and it is exactly what God has already freely given you. Plus, this free gift (which He paid for with His life on the Cross) comes with operating instructions [the Holy Bible], the Holy Spirit [we can call this customer service], other family [the Church] to consult with when we are tempted to veer off God’s path.

Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light. –Matt. 11:28-30. GOD’S LOVE IS ALWAYS FREE AND LASTS FOREVER!

Remember, we are all a work in progress but the good, “God News” is, we are not alone!

Realizing His love his free, His time is free. Our free will, as God’s will.
All that He gave to us, His only Son, the gift of the Holy Spirit. Free to be called upon at any time.
The conversation is always open and costs nothing.
We are never alone. Jesus has walked before me when I was afraid. As I continue to grow in His love, I am learning all I have to do is ask for His guidance; for myself, and for others. I am grateful. His comfort and the peace of the Lord our God is with my Spirit. May He also be with you!
